Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, August 24, 2012. Our beloved mother left us to join God, Dad and all her loved ones who had passed before her. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Gilbert and leaves with love, her children: John, Susan (Murray), Dan (Laurie), Anne (Brian), Donna (André) and her grandchildren: Dave (Heather), Derek, Shannon, Jennifer, Jessica, Shane, Chanelle, Kristie, Brandon, Victoria, Ashley, Alex, Joey and Jimmie and her great-granddaughter, Abi. Mom came from a large family with many brothers and sisters: Angus, Jenny, Vincent, Florence, Ben, Zita, Mary, Leonard, Gilbert, Pat and Ken as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to Chantale, Lucie, Sylvie and all those at the palliative care home, Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie for their loving care of our mother and support to all of us. There was no better place to spend her final days than at this former catholic church run by charity and volunteers. In lieu of flowers, please give generously to this wonderful organization. Mom's life will be celebrated according to her faith at St. Mark Church, 160, rue Principale, Gatineau (Aylmer), on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. The family will receive condolences at the church at 10:30 a.m. .
