
He was born October 15, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York on the day that electricity was installed in his family home.
He graduated from PS 138 in 1944 with a focus on the electrical technology trade.
He spent many years working for the Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO) where he wired many electrical sub-stations and developed many strong friendships.
In 1950 Anthony met the love of his life, Irene. They were married for 58 years and were an inseperable team.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and friend. He took great joy in watching his family grow.
He was a generous man who enjoyed helping others. It was common to find him working on a project for a friend, giving freely of his time and expertise.
He was a principled man who lived a life with very high moral values and a positive perspective on the world.
His kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor will be missed greatly. He was a fun guy to be around.
He is survived by his wife Irene, children Sal, Karen, and Tom, daughter-in-laws Deborah and Denise, son-in-law Bill, and grandchildren Erin, Anthony, Thomas, Peter, and Lisa.
