Barbara Leite

Barbara peacefully and unexpectedly passed away on September 4, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Barbara's greatest love was her family. She was married for 45 beautiful years to Eduardo and had two children, Steven and Karla who were the light of her life. She was blessed to have three incredible grandchildren, Anastasia, Alexander, and Damian. Barbara was a special person, the kind that once you meet you fall in love with. She was selfless, loved beyond measure, and beautiful inside and out. She dedicated her life to her family with not only her love and devotion but also her cooking and making everyone feel welcome in her home. Her grandchildren were the center of her universe and her legacy will continue with her children and grandchildren. May her memory be forever eternal. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Barbara's life on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will occur Monday, September 11, 2023, at 9:30 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 200 Great East Neck Rd, West Babylon, NY, 11704 officiated by Rev. Fr. Demetrios Kazakis. Barbara will be laid to rest on Monday, September 11, 2023, at St. Charles Cemetery, 2010 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11735.
