A memorial visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A burial of ashes will occur Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at North Babylon Cemetery, Livingston Ave and Sunrise Highway S Service Rd, North Babylon, New York.
Michael Steele was born and raised in Babylon. He worked up to the very end at NYS Parks-Belmont.
Previously, he owned Argyle Dog Grooming. Mike was married to Cynthia Banks Steele for 25 years before her passing. Mike had many friends and loved to tell stories about his youth, his family, his job and his life in Babylon.
