DIETZ, Eugene 58, of West Islip and West Babylon, on December 19, 2019 went home to be with the Lord. Cherished son of Theresa Dietz and Edward Dietz. Beloved brother of Doreen (Mamound), Edward (Chrissy), Jeffrey, and William (Kim). Adored uncle to Shereen, Eddie, Desersa, Jeff and Justin. Loving uncle to his fur nieces and nephew Luigi, Tori and Sassy. Eugene loved to be in the pool, stopping off to have some ice cream and a hamburger were some of his favorite things to eat and always put a huge smile on his face. He also loved to listen to music, especially music from the 60's and 70's, the Beatles were one of his favorites. Some of his favorite T.V. shows he loved to watch was The Adams Family, I Love Lucy, Gilligan's Island and the Partridge Family. When Eugene was younger, he took horseback riding lessons and he loved Penny the horse. Friends and family may visit at the Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, Babylon Village, on Monday 2p-4:30p and 7p-9:30p. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:30am, at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, West Islip.
