My Uncle Harold was a very special man.  He was congenial, extremely community-minded, and a loyal supporter of the North Lindenhurst Fire Department, to which he and Aunt Mary belonged for many years. He was also very involved with local politics, our neighborhood, and all manner of community causes. If you wanted to know what was going on in the Town of Babylon, Uncle Harold was your man. What a guy. 

Well done, Uncle Harold.  You will be missed by so many.  Please say hello to the Russells for us.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
