Isabel Orlando

Isabel A. Orlando was born June 8,1927and died on August 7, 2023. A 60-year resident of Lindenhurst, NY. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Orlando. Devoted mother to two daughters, Gail (John) Wench and Carol (Paul) Ortton. Loving Nana to JP (Paulina) Ortton. Isabel also leaves a sister, Marianna Grawin, age 94, of Florida, along with many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and countless friends and acquaintances.

Isabel loved gardening, gambling, the beach, painting, and especially socializing with everyone she met along the way. Issie spent many years, after her husband's death, with the Senior Citizens of Tanner Park, Copiague. Issie, always a survivor, was strong-willed and liked to say she got along with everyone she met. If there is a garden in Heaven, she will gladly keep any pesty weeds out of the flowerbeds. Rest in peace, dear Isabel.

A visitation for Isabel will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Entombment will occur Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11739.
