Where did the year go. I miss you everyday.  I know you are one of my angels looking after all of us. I love you Mrs.McGrath.

Fond memories of Mrs. McGrath coming down to the west tunnel at Tobay Beach loaded with assorted goodies for her grandchildren.  I think her adult children enjoyed them equally as well. 
She is dearly missed.

Such a gifted teacher she got me through algebra at QRA at the first parent teacher meeting my mom and Mrs McGrath realized that they were high school classmates.  Talk about six degrees of separation.  Condolences to Suzanne

Mrs mc.grath was the best teacher. I was being physically abused by my mother and 4th grade was the only year of elementary school where I had true emotional respite from that harsh reality of what had already been 8 years. I was lucky enough to have her for math in 8th grade, the only year I passed math and not by the skin of my teeth. She was a wonderful, caring person and I looked forward to going to school every day. 

Dear Marianne, Suzanne and all,
It was with great sadness I learned of you Mom’s death. I was so sorry not to be able to be there. I consider myself one of the luckiest people to have known her . She was always an example of what it meant to be Christ to all people.
In so many ways she was like a “ mother” to me, always giving the best advise and keeping me grounded. 
I will pray to her to intercede for all of you and grant you the grace of peace, love and joy as you remember this wonderful mom.

Your Grammy was my math teacher so many years ago. She was so kind and very funny. It was definitely a class I looked forward to going to.

Mrs. McGrath was my all time favorite teacher.  She gave me all the confidence I needed after a rough freshman year at SJB.   I think I chose to be a “deckie”ie, a navigation major at the US Merchant Marine Academy because of the love of geometry she instilled in me.  I truly believe, no Mrs.  McGrath no Kings Point.  She was such a light after a year of being told I was just a screw up.  I owe her so much.  

Mrs.McGrath was my favorite math teacher. She encouraged me to do my best. I don't remember many of my teachers, graduated in 1983, but I will never forget her. Rest in peace.

To All The McGraths
Your mother was a loving and very caring person. She always told me I was her 9th child. I tried to visit her  on or around her birthday each year. She would call me around 8:50 P.M. at least once a month to check up on me. I will always carry her in my heart.  I thank her for all the childhood memories from taking me to the Jones Beach pool, riding to Lindenhurst in the back to the woody to go shopping to A&S.  and All of us neighborhood kids can't thank her enough for helping us with those long lengthy  math word problems. I thank her for helping me pass all my math regents.  She is in heaven with the angels and now looking down of all of us. Thank you for sharing your mom with me. I will miss her very much.
