So sorry to hear of your passing, Marianne. Remember having you as a student at Baldwin's Shubert School at the beginning of my teaching career. You shared a uniqie blend of laughter and respect for others with all who were fortunate enough to know you ~

It's been a few days since we celebrated your life together with family and so many good friends that wanted to share their stories of you.   They have written such beautiful memories of you.  Once again I went to call you tonight and then remembered I can't do that any more.  I just burst into tears.   The idea of visiting NY without you here my friend saddens me more then words can express.   I miss you every day... no words can express the loss I feel.   RIP MY cherished friend there will never be another person I can call my bestie.... NEVER.   I Will love you forever.  You are the wind beneath my wings. I have a picture in my kitchen window of Marianne, her mom Dina and her brother Frank.  It's a bit worn but I cherish it. It was taken on Easter many years ago. I prayed last night looking at this beautiful memory of old times. I remember the good times with family and will hold onto them always.  Daniel and Adelfo your grief is unimaginable. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so very sad to hear the news of Marianne's passing. She made my day at work much brighter with her infectious laugh and I enjoyed hearing about all her world travels, comparing our notes about places we both visited and discussing our garage sale bargains. My deepest condolences to Adelfo and Daniel. Rest in Peace my friend.

So sorry for your loss.  Marianne was such a shining light, and always made us laugh.  For the short amount of time I worked with her, she made a big impression on me.  Funny, understanding, sweet.  A wonderful woman all around.  RIP Marianne, fly with the angels.

Mare, when I think of where to start, I just think of you and can her you say as clear as day Si Se Puedo! Foreign language was not your forte my friend, but man did it crack us all up each time I tried to teach you Spanish words. Si Se Puede(Yes You Can) or as you said no matter how I tried Si Se Puedo! It became our Mantra in Shared Services at Cablevision. It just made us smile no matter how crappy the day was. We still say it and think of you each time. Your ears must have been burning. Oh man I loved when you burst into song but often with the wrong lyrics. Oh how we laughed then laughed again when we told you what the actual lyrics were. Then when a few of us joined in and we sang together boy those were fun times. I will miss speaking to you about The Voice and who will win. I have so many wonderful memories of my friend that will keep alive in my heart always. Our Shared Services Team we are family.  Daniel she loved you so much. She would often tell us about your movie nights and how much she enjoyed that special time with you but all her time with you was special to her. She loved you and Adelfo so very much. You are in my prayers. RIP My Friend!

Dear Marianne, I do not know where to begin. We have had some great years together from sharing ebay sales stories,to the deals you got on HSN. It was amazing how you and my mothers birthday were a few days apart and how you reminded me so much of her and how we planned for you guys to meet but we could never get our schedules together. I will never forget the many cooking recipes you gave me to help save my marriage because my husband was sick of eating the same things all the time. I will miss hearing you say I am going to do the nana....or that you learned a new word on the radio. You always use to tell me how much you miss your mother and how you cant wait to see her again. You guys are together again laughing, shopping and buying dolls and on your way to the local casino. It's not good bye its see you soon.

R.I.P Marianne. I didn't get to see her since she retired but I knew her my 21 years at Cablevision she was my lead and then she went to shared services and I am glad to say we got to work together again for a year and a half before she retired. Marianne could always make you laugh and as I think of her I can here her laugh now. She loved her family more then anything and I also remember how happy she was in her new home. You will be missed and I will be praying for your loved ones. xo

I have so many fond memories of Marianne's over the top one of a kind pesonality. She was TRULY a gem and always a PLEASURE to be around. I will remember her for her kindness and that SPECIAL glowing SMILE of hers which was contagious with everyone at Cablevision/Optimum/Atlice that she came in contact with...I will miss hearing her Singing my name off beat or shouting out all day at work "Pam " I can't hear you.....what was that you were saying/talking about with so and so...I still can't hear you Pam speak Louder so I can hear too..     

I'm smiling and sad at the same time right now..smiling because i will always have those special priceless memories that we shared at work and after working hours and sad because i cant create new ones with this wonderful woman....Rest in peace my beautiful sweet kind wonderful BUTTERFLY Marianne.

Marianne it is hard to know what to write to express what an impact you had in my life and many others. For almost 13 years, I got to see you for 40 hours a week. Sometimes that time was a complete nightmare and we would get on each other's nerves.  But the majority of the time, it was you that would make me and others laugh and smile. Sometimes actually making us laugh to the point of tears. You made our days go faster and we became a family. Just like family we would fight, but in the end we always were there for each other. You were always one of the kindest people I have ever met. You had such a big heart and would always be the first to offer whatever you could to help someone.  I am going to miss you my friend. I know heaven has a new angel and that you will be watching over everyone, especially your son Daniel. Your mom loved you so much Daniel. It showed every time she spoke about you. You have left an imprint on me forever and a day. From the way you said my name when you would hear me giggling on the other side of the wall at work, to the way you made me cry with laughter when the Shared Services crew were discussing Will.I.Am. The memories I have are full of Love and Laughter as I always told you, you don't even know how funny you are.Working with you was always fun, and there were so many times I would laugh until I was crying and you would always say."It's not funny Ruthie" You always had my back an I had yours. The times we would go shopping, Driving home from work or just talking, I was so lucky to have you as a friend.I used to say "You Know I Love You Like My Luggage" Even when we would bicker that's all I had to say and you would laugh and call me your Boooballa. If you were to look up in the dictionary Great Friend-there your picture would be. You had a heart of gold and everyone who knew you knows that. I still can't believe your gone.   I sit here begging myself to wake up from this nightmare.... and I don't.   I am so glad you were able to make that trip to North Carolina.   Tonight they gave me souvenirs you bought for me.   I almost stopped breathing when I saw them like a huge lump in my throat was closing in.   How well you knew who I was.  I will forever have this huge void in my life... just knowing that in the physical world I will never see you again.
