Marilyn Bauman (nee Fols), 88, of West Islip, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, January 2, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Emil Bauman. Devoted mother of Veronica Mahr, Geoffrey Bauman, and William Bauman. Dear mother-in-law of Michael Mahr and Susan Bauman. Adored grandmother of Michael Mahr, Erika Mahr, and Justin Mahr. Loving great-grandmother of Neiko Mitcham, Minna Mitcham, Ailistair Mahr, and Cassian Mahr. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mildred (Seeholzer) Fols, her sister, Doris Alvarez, and her well-loved dogs, Sparkle, Rusty, and Midnight. Marilyn was the caretaker of all of her family and friends, always putting the needs of others before her own. A loving mother and grandmother, Marilyn loved baking, candy making, crocheting, and creating dry flower arrangements. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched.
