Mary was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Rosenberg, with whom she shared 52 wonderful years of marriage.
Mary was a devoted mother to her children: Donna (Rich), Steven (Gina), Barry (Mirta), Angela (Mike), and Jamie. She was a proud and loving grandmother to many grandchildren including: Barry, Christopher, Steven, Mitch, TJ, Taylor, Nikolette, Hunter, Danny, and Dominic, and a cherished great-grandmother to Cameron, Mia, Kennedy, Reagan, and Harry. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in watching it grow.
She is also survived by her siblings: Rosalie, and Debbie (Kevin) and is predeceased by her sister Rita and brother John; with whom she has shared many memories with throughout the years.
Mary dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and created a warm and welcoming home for everyone who entered. She had many talents and hobbies that she loved to share with others, including sewing, knitting, crocheting, playing cards, and cooking. Her creativity and generosity were reflected in the many handmade items and meals she lovingly prepared for family and friends.
She was also an active member of the Babylon Senior Center, where she enjoyed spending time with friends and being part of the community.
Mary was truly a mother to all—helping anyone, anytime, anywhere. Her door was always open, and she welcomed everyone into her home with warmth and kindness. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say. Mary enjoyed having everyone over her home for parties. She would even feed a stranger off of the street. Loved by all who knew her, she will be deeply missed by many.
Her family will forever cherish the lessons she taught them and the love she gave so freely.
Mary's family will receive visitors on Wednesday March 11, 2026, from 4:00pm- 9:00pm at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home.
