Pauline,  fought so long and so hard.  She will always remain an integral part of our lives. All of our life long memories back to early childhood,  include Pauline. These  last few days have been filled with thoughts, love and reflections of her  beautiful soul. With shattered hearts! Love and immeasurable condolences. The world is a much sadder place without you.

Pauline always believed that there were angels among us. It takes one to know one.
I remember the first time she laid eyes on Paul. She could see he had it all going on. He was tall. Little did she know that when she married Paul, she would become the matriarch to my younger brothers and sisters. Pauline, with her compassion for them and her love for Paul, embraced her new role.
I remember at one of the many parties we shared with family and friends, she gave me a little plaque with the saying " When you're right, nobody remembers, but when you're wrong, nobody forgets". Pauline knew how petty people could be. She was always willing to give people the  benefit of the doubt. She was a person with great empathy however she was a person of strength when push came to shove. She was the anchor of the Cygan family. 
Now that she has left us, I look at this time not as a departure from loved ones, but as a reunion with loved ones in the Greater Reality. Jesus taught his disciples to love one another knowing that you will only encounter souls that love you and you love in the Greater Reality. You will be missed. So let us grieve for our loss, but to grieve too long is something Pauline would not want. She has gone home and is very happy. I'm sure she only wants good health and happiness for all of us before we join her. Hear the voices of our souls. This is the World of Illusion.

My sincere condolences to Paul, Jodi, Paul and all the Cygan family.  She will be sorely missed by many.  Although I have not seen Pauline for a very long time, I was always in touch through my daughter, Nicole, Jodi’s lifelong friend.  We shared the trials and tribulations of our teenaged girls.  When Nicole decided she couldn’t take her family anymore in the week after Hurricane Gloria, she ran away from home.  Where did she go?  Straight to the welcoming, safe home of Pauline Cygan (who immediately called me to ease my fears)!
A kinder, more sensitive person I will never meet.  She was a true treasure;  an example of what human beings should aspire to.  Pauline is with the angels she so loved. God bless and rest in peace Pauline.

Our friendship started in 1973.  First, we were neighbors, then we were friends for life.  We were young mothers and we depended on each other.  We sort of matured together while raising our kids.  I'll cherish the moments we shared.

Pauline was a gentle soul, but also very strong.  She was kind, caring, loving, generous, compassionate, a trusted confidant and a wonderful friend.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Paul, Paulie, Jodi, Frank and grandchildren during this difficult time. 

Pauline, I will forever miss your presence and your voice, but I will find comfort with the many beautiful memories we created together.  Rest in peace my dear friend.

Pauline was the kindest, most compassionate person I have ever known. She was truly the matriarch of our family. She was so much more than just my sister in-law. She was my parent when needed, my confidante and, my friend. There are no words to describe how much I will miss her or how broken my heart is now that she is gone. I know that Pauline is now at peace, pain free and, with all her loved ones that left before her, for that I am grateful.

Pauline was such a beautiful soul.  Full of kindness  to the core.  Always willing to help anyone who needed it.  Growing up there were many parties turned sleepovers at the Cygan house and we no doubt put her kindness to the test … with Pauline smiling all the while.  She was truly one of the great ones and will be remembered as so by many.  Thank you, Pauline, for just being you.  Love you. ❤️🙏🏼

Such a beautiful soul who graced this earth! I am so lucky to have known Pauline. I am picturing her up there, reunited with another beautiful soul, my cousin Gina.  May she rest in peace.

It is not often you encounter a truly selfless soul. I was lucky enough to have this angel with me my whole life. Although my heart is breaking, I am relieved to know that she is at peace and reunited with family and friends. I will miss her so. -C
