

Robert Richard Neville, 94, of Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, February 28, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family. Beloved husband of 74 years of Ann Marie Neville (nee Bruno). Devoted father of Rosanne George, Robert Neville, Kathleen Neville, Kevin Neville, Margaret Murphy, MaryAnne Vitella, Patricia Neville and Paul Neville. Dear father-in-law of Dennis George, Jeanne Passante, Michael Murphy, and Stephen Vitella. Adored grandfather of Ellie Murphy, Julia Vitella, Leah Neville, and Paul Neville. Loving brother-in-law of Patricia Neville and Ralph Bruno. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Robert James Neville and Anastasia (O'Brien) Neville, his parents-in-law, Ralph and Rose Bruno, his siblings and siblings-in-law, Leticia and Raymond Newman, Gene and Shirley Neville, Theresa and Artie Donnelly, Eileen and Paul Speeches, Frank and Patricia Neville, Judy and Robert Hughes, and Joan Bruno. Born in Williston Park, Bob was a proud 1949 graduate of Saint Dominic High School in Oyster Bay. After high school, Bob went on to serve his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. During his career, Bob was a sales manager for the Long Island Railroad, but was very happy to have been retired longer than he worked. Bob served on the West Babylon School Board and was a faithful parishioner of Saint Joseph's RC Church in Babylon. He was a college basketball enthusiast and never missed a "call to post" at Tampa Bay Downes, but frequently had to "turn the page." A life filled with the love of family and friends, Bob will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 2:00 pm-7:00 pm. Funeral mass 10:15 am Thursday, March 5, 2026, St. Joseph's RC Church, 39 N. Carll Avenue, Babylon.
