

Robert Michael Pantaleo, of North Babylon, Long Island, New York, died Tuesday, November 9th, 2010. Mr. Pantaleo was born in Brooklyn, New York to his parents, Joseph and Dorothy (nee Schweers). He worked as an auto mechanic for the Bright Bay Lincoln Mercury dealer in Bay Shore for many years. His free time found him volunteering for the Grateful Greyhound Rescue alongside his wife, Jane; and with the Patriot Soccer Club of North Babylon, where he has been a member for over 15 years and currently serves as Vice President. His life revolved around his family. Surviving is his wife, Jane (nee Sanchez); his sons, Christopher (known as "Chris")and his wife, Stephanie; and Nicholas (known as "Nick"). He also has three brothers - Joseph and his wife, Mary Ellen; Thomas and his wife, Christine; and Salvatore; his niece, Krista; and nephews Gregory and Thomas. Mr. Pantaleo reposed at the Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, In Babylon, New York on Thursday and Friday, November 11 and 12th. On Friday evening, the Rev. Thomas McCarthy offered the Catholic Wake Service at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday morning, following prayers at the funeral home, Mr. Pantaleo was entombed at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
