Our deepest condolence to the O'Sullivan Family
       I will always remember a few years ago on the 4th of July
Ryan played an amazing version of the Star Spangled Banner on his sax, while standing on his lawn
    After he was done the surrounding neighborhoods broke out in wild cheering and applause, renewing my patriotism and appreciating the area we chose to live in
    He was loved by many and will be missed by all

The Con Edison IT’s Department extends our deepest condolences to the O’Sullivan family for the tragic loss of your son, Ryan.  Words cannot express the sorrow and heartbreak of this loss. Your son was a remarkable young man, and even in his short time with the Company, his presence touched many of his co-workers.  His kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit were evident in all that he did.  Several of his IT colleagues mentioned that even though he wasn’t working directly with them, he would often stop and chat at their desks or in the hallway.  Ryan came to know and develop bonds with many IT colleagues during his time in our department.

Ryan will always be remembered and cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.  It is clear that he brought joy and light to the world, and his memory will continue to shine brightly.  During this time of immense grief, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope you find comfort and strength in the love and support of those around you. If there is anything we can do to assist or support you during this challenging period, please do not hesitate to reach out.

He was a great person always had a smile on his face  and very friendly .

Although I did not know Ryan for a long time, he was one of the smartest, kindest and funniest souls I have ever met. I got closer with Ryan my senior year of high school through my friend group and I remember we sat next to each other in AP Macro class. He was always putting a smile on my face and made me laugh until it hurt. It has been such a pleasure to have known Ryan. I am incredibly sorry for your loss and my prayers are with your family at this time.

Ryan used to play the piano in the lobby of the Con Ed Learning Center.

The first time, it definitely shocked many as no one had ever done something like that before. But for me? If I closed my eyes, it took me back to the late weekday nights in the dining hall of Lowell House dorm at Harvard where students would delight in a percussive reprise from their PSETs; t Subconsciously, it signaled a positive cultural shift starting in the company.

Ryan had a brilliant mind and was someone who could always make me laugh. I always admired how he could dedicate himself to developing a skill and express his creativity. Whether it be learning a new instrument, or speaking Spanish, he was always working towards something, and it seemed that he could achieve anything he aimed for. He had a one of one personality and was a great storyteller. He will be missed greatly.

I have shared a picture of Ryan from the giant stairs hike we went on at the palisades shore trail.

My thoughts and prayers are with the O’Sullivan family. Growing up having Ryan in my elementary school classes, he was always a bright light. He was kind, funny, and incredibly smart. I send my love to your family, may memories of him help him live on. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Ryan was a joy to work with; he was always willing to participate in events bringing joy and light to everything he did. Ryan, we miss you and thank you for choosing to work with us.
