William R. Busk

William was the beloved husband of the late Barbara, with whom he shared 24 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Christopher J. Busk (Nicole) and a proud Pop Pop to his grandsons, James and Sean. William was the youngest of 12 siblings and was cherished by his entire family.

A proud Army Veteran, William served honorably during the Korean War. Following his military service, he dedicated his life to education, touching many lives with his wisdom and commitment.

William had a deep love for his family and cherished spending time with them, especially enjoying family gatherings. He was an avid reader and had a lifelong passion for learning. A man of great faith, William was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and had a strong devotion to the Catholic Church.

William’s presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

A visitation for William will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A burial will occur Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
