Patty J. Cochran

Born in Oklahoma to Lou and Mattie Williams, she was the youngest of thirteen children. Patty Williams married Paul Cochran June 17, 1952. They remained married for 61 years until Paul's death in 2013. Together they raised two sons: Michael David Cochran and Keith Dale Cochran. Patty was devoted to her family, and extended her care to numerous foster children over the years.

Patty loved to cook, winning mutiple contests and using her talents to create memorable meals not only for her famliy, but also her church in service to her Lord, overseeing and cooking for Bakersfield First Assembly Wednesday night family dinners.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Homer, Lonnie, Owen, Lavoice, and Kenneth; sisters Jessie, Lillie, Tillie, and Gladys; and daughter-in-law Christine Peden Cochran. She is survived by brothers Elwon and Dean Williams, sister Vivian Haddock, sons Michael David Cochran and Keith Dale Cochran (Cindra Cochran), grandsons Sean Patrick Michael Cochran (Lisa Van Cochran), Samuel Keith Cochran, Matthew David Cochran, and Kevin Paul Cochran; great-grandchildren Ethan, Celes, and Isaac Cochran, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Flo Moreno and the staff at Golden Hearts for the excellent care Patty recieved these past three years.

Patty was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed.
