Thérèse Carrier

It is with many heavy hearts that the family of Thérèse (Daigle) Carrier from Eel River Crossing, New Brunswick announces her unexpected passing on August 28th 2015 at the age of 71.

She will forever be missed by her loving husband of 52 years, Edmond; her four children, Jean-Guy, Shediac Cape; Nicole (Roger Boissonneault), Campbellton, Rachel (Leo Sr. Harquail), Charlo and Natalie (Kurt Lavigne) , Shediac Cape; grandchildren (Jessica, Kelsey and Leo Junior) and her beloved pet dog Tux. Thérèse is also survived by her sisters, Corinne, Velinda, Jeannette, and Adeline as well as her brothers, Gerard and Michael. She will also be missed by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and her many nieces and nephews. Thérèse was former postmaster at the Eel River Crossing post office and was well known and liked by all in the community.

Thérèse loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her greatest enjoyments were spending many hours in her flower garden, bird watching, walking in nature, fishing, knitting and spending time with her family and friends. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a caring heart and gentle soul and carried herself with grace and humility. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and will forever live on in our hearts.

Thérèse was predeceased by both parents (Theodore Daigle and Marie Brigitte Guitard) and her brother, Charlie.

A funeral mass will be held at the St. Trinity Church, Eel River Crossing, Wednesday, September 2nd at 4:00 pm. Visitations will take place at Maher's Funeral Home, 517 Ave, des Pionniers, Balmoral Tuesday, September 1st from 7 to 9 pm, and Wednesday, September 2nd from 2 pm until time of funeral.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Balmoral.

C’est avec une très grande tristesse que la famille de Thérèse Carrier de Eel River Crossing, N.-B. vous annonce le départ soudain, le 28 août 2015 à l’âge de 71 ans.

Elle sera toujours dans le coeur de son époux de 52 années, Edmond, ses quatre enfants, Jean-Guy, Shediac Cape; Nicole (Roger Boissonnault), Campbellton, Rachel (Leo Sr. Harquail), Charlo et Natalie (Kurt Lavigne) , Shediac Cape; ses petits enfants (Jessica, Kelsey et Leo Jr.) et son chien adoré Tux. Thérèse laisse aussi dans le deuil ses soeurs, Corinne, Velinda, Jeannette, et Adeline; ses frères, Gérard et Michael, ainsi que ses belles sœurs, beaux-frères, neveux et nièces.

Thérèse était anciennement maître postes à Eel River Crossing et très bien connue et aimée de par sa communauté. Thérèse aimait la vie et a su en profiter au maximum. Ses plus grandes passions étaient le jardinage, l’observation d’oiseaux, ses marches dans la nature, la pêche, le tricot et d’être entourée par sa famille et ses proches. Elle a été la meilleure épouse, mère, grand-mère, soeur et amie. Elle avait un grand cœur, était généreuse et humble. Elle sera grandement manquée et restera toujours vivante dans le cœur de tous ceux qui l’ont connu.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Sainte Trinité de Eel River Crossing mercredi à 16h. La famille acceptera les visites au Salon funéraire Maher’s, 517 av. des Pionniers, Balmoral, N.-B. de 19h à 21h, mardi le 1er septembre et mercredi le 2 septembre à partir de 14h.
