On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Gloria M. Willis (nee Jarrett) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Willis for 48 years; loving Mom of Donna LaRocque (Leroy), Paula Gardner (Scott), the late Pamela Willis, the late Deborah Mintzell and her living husband Rick; cherished Grandma of Donald LaRocque (Gina), Darren LaRocque (Rachel), Brandon Gardner, Bridgette Geize (Jonathan), Austin Kuhn (Amanda), Ryan Kuhn (Liz), Shannon Wach (Tom) and Brooke Ford; dear Nana of Devin LaRocque, Caleb Hoover, Riley Gardner, Grayson Gardner, Sydney Wach, Maddie Wach, Vivian Ford, Logan Ford, Liam Moucheron, Addison Kuhn and Baby Girl Peyton Geize on the way. She was the sister of Eugene " Butch" Jarrett and was predeceased by her other 7 siblings. Gloria is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Born with an adventurous spirit, Gloria found her true home in Ocean City, Maryland, where she resided for the last 8 years in a condo which she and her beloved husband Donald bought shortly after his retirement years ago. A lover of the ocean, she spent countless days at the beach, basking in the sun and collecting seashells. This love for the sun and sand fueled her passion for lighthouses, a defining part of her life, with her collection of them proudly displayed at her home. A dedicated sports fan, Gloria cheered for all of her hometown teams; the Orioles, Ravens, and the Colts back in the day, always sporting her team’s colors with pride. She also enjoyed a little thrill in life, whether it was bowling at the local duckpin lanes or trying her luck on the slot machines in the casinos. A true family woman, she cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially on the cruises that she so eagerly anticipated. Gloria's zest for life and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The family will receive friends at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc. 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21211 on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 4pm until 7pm. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 starting at 10am.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that charitable donations in Gloria's name be made to the American Cancer Society.
