Sarah Jane Chalk (nee Young) passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024. She is the beloved wife of the late John Robert Chalk, Sr.; devoted mother of John R. Chalk, Jr., and Steven C. Chalk and his wife Lisa; cherished grandmother of Brittany Elizabeth Chalk; dear sister of Jerry Allen Young, Jr., and his late wife Dolly and the late David, Charlotte, Douglas, and Carol Ann. Sarah is also survived by her dear friends Maxine Hayes, and Christine Taylor .
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21211, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM , and Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00, and 7:00 to 9:00 PM , where Celebration of Life services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM, Interment, Lakeview Memorial Park.
