Albert Oko

Albert grew up on the family farm at Tawatinaw and carried on the farming operation when his Dad passed away. He retired from the farm to Barrhead where he and his partner, Yvonne, especially enjoyed playing their guitars and singing at jamborees. They could also be found playing Albert’s favorite game of Crib at the Seniors Drop in Center every week.

Albert leaves to mourn his passing, sisters Edna Boychuk and Shirley Anderson; brothers George (Vivian) and Dwayne (Debbie); sister-in-law Violet Oko. As well, he leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his partner, Yvonne; parents, John and Helen Oko; brothers Clifford and Gilbert; brothers-in-law Mike Boychuk and Andy Anderson.

Albert will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed. The family thanks the staff at Westlock Continuing Care for their care and compassion.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday November 24, 2025 @ 1:00 PM from Barrhead Senior Citizens Drop In Centre.
