Carol (Yvonne) Whealy Stewart passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, surrounded by her family, at the age of 95. Born Dec. 14, 1930 in Toronto, Ontario, she was the 2nd of 8 children. She met her husband Harold, at Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, Ontario in 1949, and they married in 1950. Together, they dedicated their lives to pastoral ministry, planting and serving churches in Ontario and Alberta for 62 years. Carol was intelligent, motivated and hard-working, filling many roles throughout her incredible life; child of God, pastor’s wife, mother, grand/great grandmother, educator, author, artist, musician, singer, mentor and friend. She was an accomplished and amazing woman. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Pastor Harold Stewart, her parents, Gordon and Lucy (Ridgeway) Whealy, brothers David, Ernie, Kenny (Darlene) Whealy, sisters Isabel (Warren) McKendry and Pat (Ted) Losch, and her son-in-law Wayne Moore. She is lovingly remembered by her children Sharon Moore (Wayne), Glenna Phippen, Laura (Barry) Krieger and Roger (Vicki) Stewart; Grandchildren Kurt (Kristin) Phippen, Miranda (Sean) Cole, Karla (Vince) Hayduk, Jonathon (Alita) Krieger, Benjamin (Caitlin) Krieger, Kaleb (Sandra) Christensen-Moore, Nathaniel Krieger, Stephen Stewart, Sarah Stewart; Great grandchildren, Lucas, Logan Phippen, Elijah, Lily, Myles Krieger, Walter, Alec, Gracelyn, Sebastian Hayduk, Bethany, Asher Krieger, Jayden, Julia Cole; Brothers, Gord (Patricia) Whealy, Bernie (Linda) Whealy, special family friend, Wendy Cook, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a wealth of friends, old and new.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday November 21, 2026. at 1:30 pm Location: Journey Church of God, 10162 152nd St. NW, Edmonton T5P1X9 Wheelchair Accessible- from back parking lot off 102 Ave.
