On July 4, 1932, Catharina Post (Tabor) was born in Eerbeek, Holland. She grew up in a farmhouse with her parents and 8 siblings. When she was 15, she left and started working on dairy farms where she met dad, Leo Post. They got married in February of 1954 and immigrated to Canada in March of 1954. They were blessed with 6 children: Jane, Jacoba, Gerald, Barry, Cathy and Leo. They moved to Neerlandia in 1989. She was very strong in her faith and not ashamed of it. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great and great-great grandmother.
Preceded by her parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 1 son, 1 granddaughter and her husband Leo Post.
Catharina is survived by her 5 children, 22 grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at 1 PM from the Canadian Reformed Church in Neerlandia.
