Deepest and sincere condolences to the Wallace and Sturwold families. Even though I haven’t seen Cathy for several years I remember her smile and laugh. Her crafting and gardening talents were special and admired.  Your memories are precious and plentiful and will bring comfort in the days ahead.

Our condolences to your Family in this time of grief. I remember many good times when our family would go visiting with the Wallace family at their farm.  Sharing a meal, and playing games with Cathy, Don and David are memories I will always remember.

When Cathy was leaving Barrhead Composite High School for the Outreach school, after many years as an administrative assistant in our building, she bequeathed me this crazy elf wreath. Every year, it proudly graces my board for the month of December. 
Cathy was like that, always a giving soul.  There are many Christmas decorations in our BCHS storage that Cathy created over the years. She loved to craft and she loved to decorate.  She also had the best boots once she discovered Zulily! When we lived on our acreage at Cambarr Estates, Devin or Rod would come dig out all of the driveways after a heavy snow, and I would return the favour by dropping off goodies at their home. The Sturwolds were always friendly and inviting.  I also remember visits with Cathy at Lori's over dinner or just tea.  Cathy loved to talk about her grandbabies. 


Our thoughts and prayers go out to Devin, Kim, Liam & Kinley and the rest of Cathy's family. We were all blessed to have Cathy in our lives. I know Rod would have been at Heaven's Gates waiting to welcome her, but I also know Cathy would have been looking back at those she was leaving behind, not quite ready to go.

My sympathy goes to all of Cathy’s immediate and extended family at this very sad time.  My husband Bill (who passed on Nov. 26, 2020) was a cousin of her husband Rod. I went to high school with Rod as well. 
I am so very sorry for your loss. May God hold you in His loving arms of comfort as you mourn your dear Mom, Grandma, sister, sister-in-law.

I have so many memories of this amazing lady.   She had a bucket of Barbie doll clothes at and accessories and and helped me learn to braid hair with them. I remember years of Christmas tree hunts the then lighting up the tree that night.   I still have the sock of coins she gave me when I headed off to University!!  Life takes you in different directions but some things stick with you.  Thank you for the flowers Cathy.
