As a lifelong oilfield worker, he fostered a love of the outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, riding back country and spending time with his family at the farm. Farming included; breeding horses, raising cattle and growing support crop for the livestock. This love of adventure continued to shine through as he traveled, both for work and pleasure. Working all over Alberta and Saskatchewan, spearheading drilling innovations. Travelling to Mexico and Brazil to oversee drill operations. As well as driving
