Eleanor Wilma Phillips

January 18, 1927 – March 16, 2012

Mrs. Eleanor Phillips, late of Lac La Nonne, AB, formerly of Drayton Valley, AB, passed away on March 16, 2012 at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her loving family; two children, Vern (Alexis) Phillips of Spruce Grove, AB and Mickey Phillips of Lac La Nonne, AB; four grandchildren, Julie Phillips, Sandra (Mike) Phillips, Angie (Steve) Pawlik, and Nick (Dea) Phillips; thirteen great-grandchildren, Kortney, Mackenzie, Chase, Abrielle, Brea, Xandra, Chloe, Dahlia, Jorja, James, Vienna, Berlin, and Rome; one brother, Pat Murphy; and two sisters-in-law, Tiny (Eleanor) Beeson and Audrey Murphy. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Albert Phillips of 61 years. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Rose Garden Chapel with Reverend Donna Willer officiating. A Funeral Lunch will be held at the Barrhead Legion Hall and interment will follow in the St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery in Lac La Nonne, AB. Donations in memory of Eleanor are gratefully accepted to the Barrhead Royal Canadian Legion or The Elks and Royal Purple of Canada.
