Greg, Shannon, Scott. I was in deep shock when I read about your mom. I didn't find out until later. I am so sorry that I wasn't informed sooner. I just want you to know your mom and I did a lot of things together. We went for lunches, hockey games, we bunked together when our crew went on a Alaska. I was her realtor when she sold her bungalow behind the ski hill. I know Eileen was a very earthy person. She loved picking berries. She did a lot of canning. She loved going to her cabin. She always made sure when it was time to buy a new car that is was a four by four so she wouldn't have trouble on the road going into her cabin. She bought a black jeep and I didn't know that until I had bought the same kind. You children, I'm sure will always have pleasant memories.. I know I will miss her dearly. Love to you all and God's speed. Angela.

Dear Cousins - as I see Auntie Eileen's smiling face in the Edmonton Journal this morning - the wonderful memories just flow...…..from the first day I met your Mom and Grandmother (and realized I would have to "share" her with my Uncle Billy) I was in awe - her beauty and more importantly her unspoken message to me - we could BOTH be in my Uncle "Billy's" life - was very comforting to a young child not used to sharing!!

As the years went on and your family grew so did the love of the Fountain Family for your Mom and for each other. We are blessed with never "thinking" who were our Uncles and Aunties by "birth" and who were our Aunties and Uncles by "marriage".....and it just does not get any better than that!

So, until we meet again - dear, sweet and precious Auntie Eileen - with a smile and a laugh that just lit up our worlds - we love you, we will miss you and we will all watch over your "kids" and grandkids for you. Go In Peace. God Bless. With much love, Richard and Loy (Fountain) Gross
