Joanne Mary McQueen

Joanne was predeceased by her loving husband Gerald of 33 years. Her mother and father Joseph and Mary Twordik. And her younger sister Lorna Villeneuve.

Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her son Dale (Joanne) McQueen and her daughter Dawn (Dennis) Klemp. Grandson Steve (Tara) McQueen and Great grandchildren Lincoln, Sawyer and Kennedy McQueen. Her best friend Jim. Siblings Joe (Delores) Twordik, Leo (Rose) Twordik and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mom’s house was an open door, welcoming neighbourhood kids and friends, and she always treated them like family.

Time was never an issue with mom. She had all the time in the world, yet was never on time for anything!

Loved her flower beds and cursed them at same time complaining no one weeded as much as she did.

Mom had the gift of gab, and she could easily talk to anyone, be it friends or strangers.

She felt so blessed to have her grandson Steve, and he was the shinning light in her world. Her blessing’s increased threefold with great grandchildren.

Joanne leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness and love that will live on in everyone she knew.

She will be missed beyond measure but for ever remembered in our hearts.

Father Time doesn’t leave anyone out and unfortunately came calling too soon.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral service.
