Kenneth Arthur Swanson was born on August 16, 1941 in Westlock, AB and passed away in Edmonton, AB on April 28, 2025. Ken is survived by his sister, Betty Fediuk, his 6 children Carol Sawyer (Fred), Karen Swanson (Murrel), Nancy Schwindt, Frank Swanson (Dawn), Terrance Swanson, and Billie Swanson, his 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was born and raised in the Barrhead area and stayed in Northern AB most of his life. He was always ready to help a neighbour, friend or family member and was happiest surrounded by his family. He could make anyone laugh with his quick whit. A celebration of life will be held Monday May 5, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Whitecourt AB at 2 pm.
