Robert David Janssen

The family of Bob Janssen of Barrhead (recently of Spruce Grove) is saddened to announce his passing on July 27, 2026, at the age of 86. Bob leaves to mourn his loving spouse, Jean, of 64 years; children Lauretta (Rod) Schulz, Les (Tammy), Ken (Mary Beth); grandchildren; Lyndon (Amy) Schulz, Dalton (Jessica) Schulz, Tyson Schulz, Colton Schulz, Chris (Maylon) Janssen, Joe Robinson, Everette (Shanessa) Janssen, Adrian Janssen, Emma Skinner; great-grandchildren Maverick, Sophie, Cecelia, Lyla, Addison, Eliza, Grayson; as well as sisters Vi Fillion, Nora (Maynard) Mast, Sylvia (David) Leblanc; brothers Jack (Gladys) Janssen; Marty (Linda) Janssen; Sister-in-laws Janet (Jim) Janssen Odishaw, Bertha Janssen; Brother-in-law Claus Langeveld numerous nephews & nieces & cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Lambertus & Lillian Janssen; sisters June Langeveld & Betty Tuininga; brothers Bert, Ivan, Larry, Paul, daughter-in-law Jolie Janssen brother-in-law Lorne Tuininga.

Celebration of Life to be held Friday,August 28,2026 at the Seniors Drop In Centre Barrhead from 2 - 4pm. Luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alberta Alzheimer’s Society.
