Robert was born on February 25, 1925 at home in Belvedere, Alberta and passed away peacefully, at the age of 85, on October 29, 2010 with his family at his side. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife of 64 years, Mary Maskell; his children, Barry (Diane), Leonard (Mary Lou), Elaine (Ian) and Donna; nine grandchildren, Cori, Lanny, Jeff, Megan, Spencer, Rhonelle, Aleah, Blaine and Sheena; and two great-grandchildren, Jacey and Reese. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Jane; his brother, Thomas; and sisters, Alice, Cecile and Muriel. A Funeral Service was held on November 6, 2010 at 1:30 from the Rose Garden Chapel in Barrhead, Alberta. Interment followed in the Barrhead Community Cemetery.
