Rosa Maria Assenheimer

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Rosa Maria Assenheimer of Barrhead, AB on November 2, 2020 at the age of 88 years. She will be dearly missed yet forever loved and remembered by her children Anna (Robert) Crichton, Walter (Charlene) Assenheimer, Deanna (Rick) Neumann, Lydia (Frank) Shalagan, Linda (Kerry) Meunier, Sherry (Tony) Nahamko. Her beloved grandchildren Jason (Ann) Crichton, Gillian Crichton, William Assenheimer, Emily Assenheimer (Zackary O’Leary), Adam Neumann, Matthew Neumann, James Shalagan, Jeffrey (Miki) Shalagan, Jake Shalagan, Curtis (Jocelyne) Meunier, Jared (Tayla) Meunier, Shayne Meunier, Anthony (Danielle) Nahamko, Jordan Nahamko. Her precious great grandchildren Blake, Jack, Charles, Eli, Emersyn, and Mili. She is also survived by her sister Martha Tkachuk and nephew Marco Tkachuk.

Rosa Maria is predeceased by her loving husband Waldemar and her parents Andreas and Anna Theresia Eckenfels.

A private family service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Rose Garden Chapel with Rev. Ben Wyatt officiating. Interment to be followed at the Barrhead Eastlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to Barrhead Continuing Care Centre, 5336 – 59 Avenue, Barrhead, Alberta T7N 1L2
