Barbara M. Moore, 62, of Memphis, is now being comforted in the arms of our sweet Jesus as of Saturday, October 29, 2016. She has been reunited with her parents, Aubrey and Elsie Moore, and her brother Jerry L. Moore. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Steven Moore (Ann) of Roanoke, TX and David Moore (Katrina) of Memphis; grandchildren, Emma, Gabe, and Cameron Moore; sister, Melanie Tapp of Bartlett, niece Heather Schreiner of Olive Branch and nephew Will Tapp of Memphis. Raised in Bartlett, she graduated in 1972 from Bartlett High School and served our Country as a Corpsman for four years in the United States Navy. She worked as a transcriptionist for Memphis Lung Physicians Foundation and was a licensed Cosmetologist. Previously, she was a Junior Instructor at Plaza Beauty School. However, her proudest role was that of Nana. A member of Immanuel Lutheran Church she had been involved in the Stephens Ministry. Her interest in Community Service began at an early age as a Girl Scout where she went on to serve as a summer counselor at Kamp Kiwani. That led her to become a Girl Scout Leader. We are all blessed to have known her and thankful for every moment we shared. Until we meet again in Heaven we will keep her memory alive here on earth. We love and miss you Barbara
