Bernice Ray

In loving memory of Bernice Baker Ray born January 11th 1933 and departed this life April 12th 2019. Bernice or Necie, as known by her family, was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as "mamaw." She had a vicarious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. She is the loving and devoted wife of Jack Ray and mother to Sherry Gooch, two sons: Dana Baker and Steve Baker; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; two sisters: Elizabeth Marcum, Linda Barnes; and two brothers: Billy Doyle and Jasper Doyle.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday April 14th from 9:00am to 10:00am. Funeral service at 10:00am to be held at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens located at 3700 North Germantown Pkwy in Bartlett, TN.
