Billy Joe Luttrell, 79, of Memphis, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He spent a lifetime in sales and lastly retired as an Industrial Sales Manager for Magnolia Paper & Janitorial Supply. Bill was a member of the Church of Christ and served as a deacon for three different churches throughout his life. He was a member and deacon at Cordova Church of Christ, where he and his wife Virginia were instrumental in the founding of the Young at Heart Group. He was preceded in death by his mother, stepfather, and brother James Luttrell. Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Ferguson Luttrell, his daughter, Mary Hoots, and her fiancé David Greer, one sister Evelyn Finkenbinder of IN, one brother Donald Luttrell of Memphis, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1pm until service time at 2pm, on Monday, September, 24, 2018, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown PKY, Bartlett, TN 38133.
