It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Billy “Keith” Wilson, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, reliable brother and cherished uncle, who passed away on May 6, 2026 at the age of 75. Keith was born on October 1, 1950 to Billy and Noma Wilson of Elaine, AR.
After graduating high school from the Tennessee Military Institute in Sweetwater, TN, Keith briefly attended Memphis State University before deciding to follow in his father’s footsteps and work in the elevator industry. He made a career in the elevator industry and had 40+ years of service before retiring. He had a strong work ethic and was respected by his peers. He was a loyal and faithful Member in the International Union of Elevator Constructors, receiving a Certificate of Honor and a Gold Honorary Card. He retired on October 1, 2015, from ThyssenKrupp Elevator (IUEC Local 30) in Memphis, TN.
Keith was the heart of his family and a loyal friend to many. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, especially with his elevator brothers. He had a lifelong passion for hunting and treasured the time he spent outdoors, whether in the woods before sunrise or boating with family and friends on Enid Lake. He was also an avid NASCAR fan who rarely missed watching a race and enjoyed cheering on his favorite drivers. Among his favorites had been Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. , and in recent times had become a fan of Chase Elliott. Above all else, Keith loved his family.
He is survived by his devoted spouse, Carolyn Wilson of Oakland, MS; son Andrew Wilson of Cordova, TN; stepson Corey Rudolph (Amanda) of Memphis, TN; grandchildren Jeremiah, Loxley Joe, and Blakely Rudolph (Corey and Amanda); brother Thomas (Judy) Wilson of Marion, AR; sister Patricia (Bruce) Moore of Moro, AR, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
