Calvin F. Wright

Calvin F. Wright, age 78, died peacefully at St. Francis Hospital-Memphis surrounded by his loving wife of 7 years, Laura Lucchesi-Wright. His wife, Laura took care of him those 7 years and was with him every step of the way. He enjoyed feeding the ducks, going to movies and visiting with friends and family. He also left behind 2 sons, Chris and John; 2 daughters, Vanessa and Diane; 2 brothers, Jimmy and J.T.; 2 dogs, Hollie and Herbie; and was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. Wright, Sr. and Carrie Bell Bailey Wright. We knew God put us together. Thank you U.T. Family Practice, Primacy Parkway for ALL of the Great Customer Service Calvin received from you all. He was in good hands when he was first admitted to St. Francis in August 2013. We both appreciate all of your care! Thank you Amedisys for the wonderful service you provided for Calvin’s therapy, nursing and hospice care. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
