Charles “Chuck” Eugene Hartwigsen, resident of Collierville since 1997, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Mr. Hartwigsen was born on June 23, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents Ira and Louise Hartwigsen and a brother Ken Hartwigsen. Mr. Hartwigsen is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy Byrns Hartwigsen, children Michelle (Barry) Sarrio of Collierville, TN., Teresa (Berry) Kercheville of Nashville, TN., and Julie Hartwigsen of Ontario, CA., grandchildren Elizabeth (Chris) Sarrio Cannon, Joseph (Brooke) Sarrio, Adam Sarrio, Rachel (Tim) Sarrio Quiroga, Brent (April) Kercheville, Scott (Ashley) Kercheville, Robb Kercheville, and Austin Kercheville, great-grandchildren Paige, Jenna, Grace Kercheville, Kaylee, Mason, Addison Cannon, Lucy, Charlie and Grace Sarrio, and siblings Raymond Hartwigsen, Jean Perry, and Mary Williams. Mr. Hartwigsen was a member at East Shelby Church of Christ. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, May 12 from 6-8pm at East Shelby Church of Christ, 4700 Mayfield Rd W., Collierville, TN. 38017. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11am also at the Church.
