She owned a café where she met and married her husband of 50 years, Fredrick H. Acker. Fredrick was in the Navy so his and Clara's life was built around traveling. Once the navy life slowed down Clara worked at Goldsmiths Downtown in the clothing department, which as one of her many passions.
Clara was a good artist, a great wife, and an awesome mother and grandmother. She took great care and pride in everything around her. Clara will be greatly missed by daughter, Sandra Acker and granddaughter, Samantha Acker
