Connie Dale Berggren

Born on November 9, 1952 in Memphis, Tn, Connie was the beloved daughter of the late Freddie and Helen King.

She spent most of her career as a radiology technician at Methodist Hospital, where she met many of her life long friends. She spent the last years of her life playing bingo with friends at Side Car and East End Grill, going to hang out with friends at Neil's, and attending the grandkids sporting events.

One of the most special relationships in her life was with her twin sister, Bonnie Greaves. The two shared a bond that never wavered, and she truly didn’t go a day without Bonnie by her side in some way. Their connection was constant, loving, and full of shared memories.

She is survived by her sisters Pamela Lee (Terry), Bonnie Greaves (Scott), her two children, Lauren Long (Chad), Zack Berggren (Courtney), and her pride and joy, her 3 grandchildren Chloe, Mason, and Haven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Helen King, and her husband Rick Berggren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the love she gave and the memories we will carry forward. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the lives she touched.

A visitation for Connie will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, Barth, Tennessee 38133, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
