Susie was a devoted animal lover, with a special fondness for dogs and cats, and indeed, all creatures great and small. She was also a passionate fan of Willie Nelson, finding joy and solace in his music.
She is survived by her brothers, Keith Volner and Kent Volner. Susie was preceded in death by her father, James Howard Volner, and her mother, Betty Sue Volner.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors of St Francis Hospital-Bartlett for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held on February 18, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 10:00 am to 10:40 am. The committal service will take place at Memory Hill Gardens at 11:00 am.
