Diane Eldred Hopkins

Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mildred Eldred and her sister, Connie Corwin.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, Rick Hopkins, with whom she shared over 24 years of marriage; two daughters, Colleen Long (Charlie) and Krista Siler (Jonathan); five grandchildren, Charlie Long (Kenzy), Kate Long, Blake Siler (Sadie), Ava Siler and McKenzie Siler; three great-grandchildren, Dawson, Annie and an expected great-granddaughter, Ellie; and her sister, Sharon Hulbert.

Diane graduated from Afton High School and went on to earn a degree in Dental Hygiene from Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY. After moving to Bartlett, TN, Diane was a Program Support Specialist at FedEx for over 32 years, until retiring in 2016. She dedicated her life to serving her family and others, always with a kind and caring spirit.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she referred to as the loves of her life. Diane’s family was everything to her, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, at Bellevue Baptist Church, in Pollard Chapel, located at 2000 Appling Rd., Cordova, TN. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 pm.

Diane's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, and she will be remembered for her warmth, love and devotion to family.
