Dorothy Pike Shipman

She was born in Memphis, Tennessee to William and Anna Pike and was a lifelong Tennessean; and was retired from FedEx where she was an Executive Administrative Assistant.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Kelly Shipman, Kathy Wilkinson (Tommy); son, Lloyd Shipman; grandchildren, Kim Markham, Travis Markham, Brett Shipman and one great grandson, Ayden Markham; longtime companion, John Sporleder; siblings, Elinor Pike Gavrock and Arthur Frank Pike.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Shipman; daughter, Kim Shipman and parents, William Pike and Anna Stone Pike.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2 pm, the family will receive friends starting at 1 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens.
