Earl S. Armstrong, 76 of Bartlett, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was preceded in death by his Father, Hubert Wiley Armstrong and Mother, Myrtle Ardell Armstrong of Covington, TN, and his five siblings. Earl is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Glenn Armstrong and his four children Kathy Cooper (Barry), Lisa Burks, Glynn Kirby (Pam), and Kim Flaherty (Michael), seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild and many loyal caring friends. He was a retired Truck Driver from Consolidated Freightways and previously the Dial Corporation. He drove more than 4 million cross county miles in his career. The family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm, on Friday, September 1, 2017 and the funeral will be on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10am, both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133.
