Edna Louise Adams Peterson, 87, of Germantown, was born on September 24, 1923 in Oakland, MS. She was born anew on June 8, 2011 at her home. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Germantown. Mrs. Peterson, the widow of Walter E. Peterson, Jr. is survived by one son, Walt and daughter by marriage, Lisa; four grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Melissa and Lauren; and a brother, Glen Adams of Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, June 16 at her home in Germantown. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, June 17 at Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., formerly Memory Hill Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial gifts be made to Pine Hill Presbyterian Church, P.O.
