Elfredda B. Mann of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Bartlett, Tennessee, died on October 14, 2021, at her Residence in Garrett Woods Assisted Living Center. Services will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Parkway with burial following in Memory Hill Gardens. She was a retired teacher and guidance counselor at Memphis Area Vocational Technical School (now Tennessee Technology Center) for 23 years. She was a graduate of the University of Memphis with undergraduate and graduate degrees. She was the widow of Howard Mann (Johnny) who coached and taught in Alabama and in the Memphis area. She was a member of Tennessee Retired Teachers Association and a lifetime member of the American Vocational Association.
She is survived by her daughter Melanie Landrum (Charles), granddaughters Amelia Gaylor and Jessica Colter (Scott), and great grandchildren Julia Mundt (Christian), Shane Hays and Autumn Hays. The family requests that memorials be sent to The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
A funeral service for Elfredda will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
