Kathy, Rachel and Family,
I want to express how deeply saddened I am to hear of your dear Daddy's death.  My memories carry me back to Milan, Tennessee in the 70's, First Baptist Church, the strip, ball games (Kathy you were the star on the basketball court-Bradley was your most enthusiastic supporter in the stands), choir, bible study and church. Our lives as young adults were free from the missteps of so many of our contemporaries thanks to adults like Bradley and Ann Gurley. Faith, Family and Friends were the center of our world. Your parents made such an indelible impression on the lives of so many young adults. Looking back love flowed, faith flourished, and we all felt unconditionally accepted, valued and safe. Bradley always had a bright smile and outstretched hand. Your Dad was generous and kind, gentle and strong. Bradley possessed a quick sense of humor and something hilarious to share making everyone smile and laugh. I remember your dad's irreplaceable grin and that twinkle in his eye.  Bradley had the unique talent of making everyone feel special, he certainly made me feel part of his family.  Bradley and Ann Gurley were powerful Godly examples, modeling how to live a spirit filled life loving Christ and others. I remember the times Bradley and Ann led the youth in prayer, praise and thanksgiving. The unforgettable trips to bible studies and youth events...they were the best chaperones!   The impact of your dad, mother and shared experiences imprinted my heart and life for Christ.  I am praying for all of you. I know the sorrow of a loss such as yours, God is sufficient now and in all the days ahead.  Ours is a grief full of hope. Until then we will remember, love and give thanks for Bradley Gurley. His personal faith in Christ, testimony and life lives on in all our hearts.  I look forward to celebrating his beautiful life with your family in the service being planned. Until then I remain.
