Frances Logan “Sister”, 91, of Memphis, TN passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. Frances was married to her loving husband, James, for 24 years before his passing. She was the sister of Billy, Victor, and Joe Carroll, who preceded her in passing. Frances was retired from Shering-Plough, having dedicated her entire career to the company. She was a resident of Embassy Towers for over a decade and was a close friend to many of her neighbors there. Frances loved shopping, especially at Macy’s. She had a passion for fashion, loved animals, and in her later years enjoyed afternoon soap operas. She was a very independent woman, continuing to drive until 90. Frances leaves behind a large host of nieces, nephews, great, and great-great nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 15 from 1 – 2 p.m. with a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Fayette County Animal Rescue.
