Gary C. Moore

Gary C. Moore, age 79, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Gary was born November 26, 1941. Mr. Moore was an Army Veteran and retired from Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk's Office. Gary was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and enjoyed being with his family laughing, visiting amusement parks, where he would seek out the fastest rollercoaster.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Hazel Moore, his three daughters; Ruthie Moore, Ronni Ammons, Rhonda Roberson, and one grandson, Joey Moore. Gary is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean Moore, his children, Lee Rhodes (Shannan), Steven Moore (Charlie), Stephaine Heavener (John), fifteen grandchildren, lots of great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. He also leaves a brother, Billy Moore (Debbie) and a sister, Debra DeGraffenried.

The family will receive friends from 1pm until service time at 2pm, on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN 38133.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
