Mr. George Allen Nichols, 68, of Horseshoe Lake, Arkansas passed to his heavenly home on March 4, 2017. He was born in Memphis, TN, was a plumber for The University of Tennessee Health Science Center for over 30 years, an avid fisherman who loved being outdoors and enjoyed his family and loving dog, Kirby. Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Everette and Clorinda Solari Nichols. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret Anne Madey; children, Darby Nichols and Heather Kane of Brighton, TN; grandchildren, Kurstyn Nichols, Darby Jeanette Nichols, Zoe Nichols, Dubhlainn Kane and Declan Kane; sister, Marjorie Albright of Brighton, TN; and brother, Everette Nichols of Memphis, TN. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2017 Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to A.S.P.C.A.
